The two lovely people came to me via referral and y’all know how much I love a referral. After hearing their vision for their wedding day I was IN as their Atlanta Wedding Photographer. Starting with a pallet of navy, pink and greenery adding in giant balloons, confetti and cigars oh and donuts! Yep, you just wait.
It never fails that a knife will come out when the groom receives cuff links as a gift from his bride. It is really easy to convert a standard dress shirt into a “french cuff”. All you need is a knife and a little determination. I can not tell you how many times I have helped grooms do this, so they can wear the cuff links for the wedding. And - hey! It makes for good photos. Ha ha, and it shows you who is packing that day. I never really know where the knife comes from, but someone ALWAYS has a knife.
Ladies, and hey, why not Gentlemen… confetti on your wedding day is ALWAYS good idea. Confetti is even made biodegradable now, so it is environmental friendly! Non-toxic and water salable, you can’t ask for a better fun option. Check it out HERE!
Que cuff link alert! Here they are on. How amazing do these look and you would never know it wasn’t a french cuffed shirt! A little trick of the trade for y’all.
Another way to personalize your ceremony to fit your day is with a wine box. Crystal and Chad will open this bottle on their first anniversary and read the letters they wrote. What an amazing way to relive the best day of your life!
Lets talk about this Atlanta Wedding dessert table for a moment, shall we?! Donuts and cake! How about the groom cake?! Did realize it was a cake did you! Yep, the grooms cake is a box of cigars. How fun! Not only donuts and cake, but a cigar bar as well with more customization from the bride and groom in the form of matches for the cigars with literally a cigar for everyone.
This makes my second time photographing a wedding at this Atlanta Wedding Venue. It really is a wedding photographers dream. There are so many amazing locations on site to use and multiple indoor floors with some the best indoor lighting I have ever seen.
The romantic greenery against the lanterns makes such a classic look. The pop of pink from the table numbers and white flowers in milk vases complete the whole scene. Incorporating the navy cloths insured the whole pallet was included. This was perfect for any Atlanta Wedding Photographer to capture especially me!
What a wedding day! Personal, inclusive, interactive! From the moment we stepped in the hotel room for getting ready photos to the exit through sparklers into a classic car you could tell everyone in attendance was there to celebrate the couple and the day. You left with donuts, cigars, matches, koozie, a full stomach and a heart overflowing with love. This day was perfect for any Atlanta Wedding Photographer.
PS: I still use my C + C koozie! I mean, y’all, it says Sip Sip Hooray on it.. that goes with every outfit!
