You hire a photographer for your wedding, even your engagement session. Some people hire photographers for anniversaries, birthdays and even births, so why not for your proposal? Of course I’m going to encourage you to photograph your proposal, so let’s talk about it.
Memories! The whole reason we take photographs is for the memories. To remember events when we can not. If you have ever been in an intense event situation you know that you blank, black out and are just so excited you simply can not remember the details. That is probably one of the most mentioned after weddings I photograph is that couples had a hard time remembering the details because the day moves so fast and there is so much stimulation happening its hard to remember it all.
Social Media! Yep, I said it, social media. You know you are going to post some sort of announcement on social media, so why not hire a professional photographer especially if you plan on proposing somewhere dope like the rooftop with a skyline view, or at a concert, or you set up a private romantic picnic dinner with thousands of candles. Friends and family are going to want to know all the details and having photos is a great way to share the moment for them.

This will allow me to get an idea of lighting, where I am going to hide, figure out the best angles to capture the amazing moment.
